Welcome to Karen's Miniature Fairy Gardens.

I love to create miniature gardens and wish to share my ideas. If you like any of my gardens and wish to buy any of them feel free to contact me. I have several more that I will post, eventually. 

I sell them as kits, without the soil. 

My little gardens are a mix of fake flowers and real ones. Each real plant is a bonsai in its own little pot. That way, only the pot is watered and not the entire garden. This is why my gardens are indoor only. You get to enjoy them all year long.

My favourite plants for indoor fairy gardens are ming aralia, azalea, silvertree (pilea spruceana), copper leaf (acalypha wilkensiana) and Brazilian red hots (alternanthera dentata).

I try to make as much of the decor as possible. I make bits out of polymer clay. For example, for the tiki garden, I  made the bananas, parrot and pineapple. The tiki is made of a wine bottle cork and is hand painted.
